FLYING HIGH...
Polish Aviation Museum is the biggest aviation museum in Poland. With rich history, amazing collection and importance to the city of Kraków - it's current identity and website was the biggest drawback. We wanted to redesign, simplify and construct a better, working product. Something globaly recognizable, safe for the tourists visiting the city. Something bold and easy to remember, yet something that fits into the space of the museum.
THE WEBSITE
We based the final design on the vast research that we did over months working on the project. We pinned down the user base and made the wireframes considering how would it impact the potential client of the museum. We didn't have to make the site structure
from the start, we had the original site as a fundament, the main problem was the overwhelming abundance of the information... we had to simplify it, which was an
even bigger challenge.
We left things that are essential to the person or tourist considering visiting the museum. We added accessibility options, a sleek menu, info, and news segment and wrapped
it up in a tasteful visual system that is integral to the place as a whole.
The colors used in designing are as simple and informative as possible.
We tried to refer to the architecture of the museum and create a clean feeling.
The website is fully responsive. It works perfectly on bigger and smaller displays.
We created desktop and mobile versions of the site.
The project is meticulously designed to work as something that brings the museum together into a single finished product. Identity is made to last for a long time,
it is integral and functional, perfectly blending into the space of the place.
